Short little hike from Box Canyon camp ground but well worth the walk. Someone has carved a cool little bench/chair to sit in and take in all that Mother Nature has blessed us with. Highly recommend visiting this serine place.
Beautiful scenery. A nice area to explore the outdoors, take your bear spray.
DIDNT SEE THE WATERFALL, but the walk was wonderful! We were wondering if maybe this is just a spring run off waterfall, but there was definitely NOT what we saw. What we did see was a really cool damn with a fish ladder, and a beautiful trail through the pines. It was super easy, we went about 1.5 miles down the trail til the kids got pooped out. I definitely want to come back and do more hiking!
Lots of bugs and hot. Hard to get to the water. Dangerous for kids with the power plant here. Many better places to go in island park.
One of my favorite views of the river!
