Crazy how you try and check these contractors out! My life is super crazy!! Too many irons in the fire to say the least.. After years of Horrid contractors helping on my house, I find Owen from Rosner Roofing at Home Advisor! MAN O MAN this Guy is great took hours worth of calls from me vetting him, and checking references. I had to be diligent, and he had the calmest disposition in answering every question to the "T" Owen is the easiest most pleasant business owner I've had the pleasure of speaking with. This was the first time I have had to get a roof replaced and was hesitant on the process. I did my due diligence and got 3 quotes. We had an unusually challenging job—converting a non-functioning passive solar collector (built in the early '80s) into an attached greenhouse with storage. Owen looked at what we had, and made some brilliant, creative suggestions for the roof. He and his team made it happen in great time and top quality. I first heard about Rosner Roofing through a local builder who recommended them and said that he trusted Rosner to fix a botched roof job that another roofer had mishandled—this seemed to me high praise. The first time I met Owen, the owner, he spent over an hour discussing roofing options with me. His enthusiasm was obvious; he even showed off polyurethane sample designed for commercial building roofs.. Rosner Roofing is small enough that Owen personally oversaw my project, conducted daily check-ins, and performed the final inspection himself, yet large enough that they have extensive experience with homes, commercial buildings, and lots of roofing applications. I can’t say enough good things about Rosner Roofing. We have had a long standing issue with our bedroom exterior wall having the paint lightening at the drywall seams. Our contractor wondered if it was water slowly migrating into the wall during the winter. He recommended we call Owen and have him look at it. He came out and discovered the flashing for that section of the roof was in fact lying in the gutter. He was on time and took the time to diagnose this long standing problem. He had a new piece fabricated and put in place. He was quite pleasant and pleasure to deal with. I know who I will call when my roof needs replacing!
