Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Sage from Roto-Rooter came out Monday morning to assess my 11-year-old water heater, which had officially retired without notice. Sage was prompt, thorough, and walked me through the estimate clearly before asking if I wanted the unit replaced that same day. After 2.5 days of cold showers, my answer was an enthusiastic, “YES! Immediately!” The pricing was transparent and fair (I had already received a comparable estimate from another reputable company), and the $100 off coupon was a welcome bonus. From start to finish, the service was professional, responsive, and efficient. I’m very happy with the experience and even happier to have hot water back! Highly recommend.

Ricardo was such a pro! After accidentally flushing my car keys down the toilet (don't laugh unless it's happened to you), I called Roto Rooter and was able to get an appointment within a two hour time frame. Ricardo was on time, super friendly, and very honest about what my options were and what they would cost. He worked quickly and efficiently to rescue my keys - it was pretty incredible to watch! Watch out homeowners they will scam you into a big job you don’t need! Never again will I use them. I had a sewer line blockage. The first tech Richard was very very good I give him 5 stars. He tried to clear it for hours, couldn’t clear it, he tried his best and was very nice. He had to send the guy with scoped camera. The camera guy barely checked it said he can only see rocks and they can’t do anything else. Then he quoted me 2 grand for hydrojetting or 5500 for clean out and pipe replacement. I heard the camera guy on the phone with his boss asking if he should try and vacuum more stones out, the boss told him to just offer the hydro jetting and pipe replacement. We had to call a plumber on a Saturday afternoon due to clog in a pipe from the kitchen sink. Eli came and was very professional. He explained the price before he began to fix the problem. It took him several hours of snaking and flushing the blockage. It was really bad. He fixed the problem and cleaned up and it looks like he hadn’t even been here except for the fact that we can now run the water in our kitchen sink. We would highly recommend Eli for any plumbing issues. He is very thorough and has great people skills! Would call again if we ever have a problem again. He instructed me how to make sure it doesn’t ever get as bad as it was. I’d give him more than 5 stars if there was that option. I would leave zero stars if I could. I was charged over $600 for ~30 minutes of work. To make matters worse, the issue that was allegedly “solved” is now back less than 72 hours after Roto-Rooter’s handiwork. I will now have to find someone else to actually fix the problem. Update: don’t let them fool you with their customer service team pretending that they care. Their shady billing practices and lack of accountability are laughable. Anyone who even considers using this company - do yourself a favor and call anyone else. You’ll save yourself hundreds of dollars and actually get a competent plumber who can fix an issue.
