Rug Doctor

Rented a Rug Doctor machine, returned it on time and was charged for an extra day. Placed a call to customer service, they showed unit was returned on time and they would issue a refund. My first call was on 7-14-24. I've called them 7 times and still no refund as of 10-18-24. Each time I've been told "there is no record of anyone processing your refund" "your refund will go back to your account in 5-10 business days". Today I was told my debit card was not mine, that it did not reflect my name and "maybe it's your mom's card". (My mother is deceased and this account, is in fact mine) I rented from the kiosk at Taylor, Tx Walmart. I will never rent a Rug Doctor again. I also tried to reach them by their customer service email multiple times and Everytime the email address they have listed

The machine works great. Why the one star then? I ordered a replacement part a week ago called to follow up and they apologized for not running the card yet and it would be 7-10 days from today. I let them know I called last week and they replied well if you pay more for shipping it will be there sooner. That is there answer for messing up to have me to pay more for shipping. Not worth the hassle. That is why it gets one star.

STAY AWAY Rented unit from a Walmart kiosk, would not spin brush or circulate water just made noise. Tried calling the customer service number on a Saturday morning, got a recording. Email sent with no reply. Called in the week was told all they can do is offer a discount on another rental. Total waste of time and money.

Horrible experience renting a rug doctor from Walmart never again!!

Really loud but other than that it’s a top notch machine. I just have to use earplugs while using it. Extractor is great too
