I visit the local store primarily for garden supplies and bird seed. Occasionally I'll buy some fishing gear. They generally have a varied supply. One of my concerns has always been the lack of tags and pricing on items. I've mentioned it to a manager several times. They don't have scanners in the store so you have to take it to a register. I was looking to purchase a firearm. Didn't know much about them and I'd go to the gun barn and ask questions and the gentleman was visibly bothered. And invariably if someone came up that he knew he immediately walked away and never came back. I ended up purchasing somewhere else. Nice store! It reminds me of Tractor Supply - almost the same concept but a bit more on the food aisle, automotive, and shoes and clothes. And a sporting department in addition! Nice one! The staff is friendly and attentive there. Free Keurig coffee and popcorn surprised me at the entrance - It is so pre-recession! It threw me emotionally back into the fat 2000s time! Hardly ever you can see businesses expressing generosity... Great job! I wish there would be a Rural King store closer to 44233...

I got all my canning supplies here earlier in the year. They are reasonably priced and offer a variety of canning supplies. This trip I was after some drill bits which they had. They have a good variety of bagged candies, taffy, gummy bears etc. People were grabbing bags of popcorn that is free as you walk into the store, so fun for kids. This has been a staple in the community for quite some time. I shop here year-round.

How do I begin? Rural king rules. I come for regular supplies, and good deals on other things. But the other day I had the best time with my BFs 11 year old son. While we ate the free popcorn and walked around, just simply enjoying ourselves. There was so many things that me and him could talk about as we walked around. It was a learning experience while also being fun.
