Rural King

I came to look at chicks, since I wanted to purchase locally instead of hatching my own. When looking over the birds for health, there were SEVERAL in the Isa Brown tank who had pasty butt. Some had this condition so badly they were straining to poop. I understand that it is common when birds are stressed from travel to develop Pasty Butt and I also understand it is common when the temperature settings are not spot on. But these birds should be separated and cared for. There was one chick in another bin who was flipped over and dead. Other chicks were running across it. There is simply no excuse for this lack of care. There was no one in the area who was available for the many customers who were there. I will not return to purchase chicks as my goal is to raise healthy hens and lack of car

Wish there was one closer than an hour away! Feel like this is an oversized old time Farm 'n Fleet! Love the wild bird feed selection they offer, not to mention, great prices too! Oh, thank you for the delicious free popcorn to enjoy while shopping!

This is a great store. Employees are friendly and helpful. all employees seem to know where everything your looking for is. I enjoy shopping at this store because the employees are so helpful ,( PROBLEM SOLVERS). Its always stocked up.

If you ever want to feel like you dont matter as a customer I recommend calling in and talking to the gun barn. I bought a pellet rifle from the store in Kentucky and it wouldn't fire so I had a few questions about what they had in stock and some details like how many fps and price. The jerk did his very best to ensure i never shop there or any rural king again, about the furthest thing from helpful is the only way i can describe my experience with Niles stores gun barn.
