We Highly recommend Bleakley Plumbing. We’ve used Bleakley for years. We noticed a hissing and water dripping sound from the toilet. We got an appointment quickly and the plumber, Tom arrived earlier than the window we were given, which we appreciated. Tom was highly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of our home and friendly. He assessed the situation, explained in detail what needed to be done and showed us a potential issue which we were unaware of that would definitely be a problem in the very near future. It was our choice whether to address this other issue. Nothing was done without our understanding and consent, including all pricing prior to work being done. This was our first time dealing with Bleakley and after having them work on our plumbing issue, they will be the only plumbing company I call in the future. They are efficient, professional, extremely knowledgeable and respectful. Tom was assigned to our job and after assessing the problem, gave us several options on how to deal with it moving forward. We decided to go with a more permanent fix than just the temporary one he could have done that same day (our dry well was backing up into our basement due to a pipe that had either collapsed or was blocked). Since this has been an on-and-off issue for many years, we were ready to make it go away permanently! We were so happy with our first visit from Tom that we instantly created a punchlist, and he was back today. He replaced a whole house water filtration system, and flushed out and services our tankless water heater. Fast, friendly, great communication, and he als gave me an education about what to look out for in case of future problems. It's hard to find a good, reliable plumber. And now we have. Bleakley came to repair a burst pipe. The cost was over $1,000 which has shocked everyone I have shared this with. The plumber came looked at the pipe, left for another job. Then sent a carpenter over who removed about ten tiles to get at the wall, then the plumber came back and patched it. Carpenter charged $200, plumber charged $819. $275 of this was an emergency same day charge which they told me upfront. If you call them, definitely ask about costs up front. Also, I did not realize the carpenter was not the same company and I would have to pay him separately. I am appreciative they came the day of the burst but am still stunned how much they charged. It sure seems like price gouging.
