Ryan Building of Worthington Massachusetts recently completed a renovation in my home that involved creating a new bathroom suitable to aging in place, and bringing the laundry area to the main level. This was an ambitious project requiring the removal of four interior walls, ceiling and floor of the original bathroom, and turning it into functional living space. The project also included dismantling a steep, open staircase, and rebuilding it to be enclosed. Throughout the process, Ryan and his team interpreted the architect’s plans with a thoughtful sensitivity to the character of the original home. From demolition to the final finish work, everything went smoothly—there were no issues or surprises. The workmanship was excellent, and the respect they showed for the existing structure made
