S & J Home Maintenance

We have used S & J for years to do our windows and have always been happy with the people and results. This is a shout out to Tom, who did a fabulous job power washing our large wooden deck. It looks like new, and he took such good care of moving our pots and furniture. We are so impressed!

I would like to give 0 stars, the system won't let me. I arranged for pressure washing the exterior of a building and also cleaning the exterior windows. They gave me a price which I agreed to. I called in a second time to make sure we had an understanding it was the whole exterior building they were going to wash, she called the guy in charge to verify, had me on hold, came back and said yes, they were doing the whole building. Then they called me the morning on the job and tried to charge me more money for doing the exterior of the building, after I already verified it twice with them that the exterior was getting done. They packed up their stuff and left the job. This is absolutely HORRIBLE business, HORRIBLE communication and they obviously screwed up multiple times and were unwi

Our story is the same as many other 1-star reviews. We have used S&J for many years (windows, gutters, lights). They were very reliable until recently. Like another reviewer, our windows were cleaned and we were told the pane count, that has been the same since they first serviced in 2015, was not correct and that we should be paying a much higher price. The technicians did not replace furniture they moved, wore the shoe covers out the door to the truck and back, left handprints on furniture, windows were not fully closed, etc. We were told someone would come out to the property and that never happened. One thing they have dialed in are the number of staff that call to collect payment--within hours and multiple times. Moving on to a new company.

S & J did an OUTSTANDING job washing our very tall (four stories) windows - inside and out on the side of a hill! We purchased our beautiful home for its 180 degree views. But it is really noticeable when the windows are dirty! The team came out twice (first to bid on the job accurately; ours requiring a 40 ft. ladder) - and then service. They were professional, thorough, clean, polite and fast - even though it was 105 degrees outside! They were also very fairly and competitively priced. We are so happy with their work that we are now scheduling with them for quarterly service to keep our view pristine. We highly recommend this terrific, family business!

This was our first time using S & J for our windows at our office building. I called Tuesdsay and they fit us in within 2 days. Our property managment company is supposed to have the building done 1-2 times a year and it doesn't get done most times. We decided to just pay for it ourself. They were quick and efficent and wanted to even do more than I had time for them to do - for the fee we were paying. I will use them again! Thank you!
