We love our stair runner from S K Hamrah! The whole experience was great. From the very beginning I felt total confidence in Bob & Carlos. The storefront is very nice and Bob was so helpful showing all of the different samples to me and helping me pick a material that would be durable with my dog. Carlos knew exactly how to do my stairs which were more difficult because it turns and also my upstairs hallway which has a lot of turns. Another carpet installer I spoke to said that there was no way I could do a patterned rug because of the turns but it was not an issue at all with S K Hamrah. The communication was excellent and the whole process was so quick and easy. I definitely recommend them!!

My contractor recommended SK Hamrah for completing the flooring for a 3rd floor loft area for a historic home I've been restoring in Plainfield. Charlie and Bob were very professional and easy to work with in coming up with a budget-friendly solution for this unique space. The carpet and installation schedule was very fast and the installer Oscar and his team did an amazing job seaming the carpet in this unique space. As an added bonus, the shop is local and located in the enterprise zone, so sales tax was half of the normal rate. I'd highly recommend SK Hamrah for your carpet and rug needs.

This company truly is an example of "you get what you pay for!" Robert educated me about the 120 yr old family heirloom persian rug that I had inherited. They showed me the labor intensive way that it would be cleaned and fixed. I asked him to send me pictures so I could see before and after. Robert then sent me pictures and videos of each step in the process. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again myself.
