Safeside Chimney & Duct Cleaning

Initially we were pleased with the service and recommendations. However we were told we could get the work done within a month or so - this was on December 12 - a month later when we inquired about a work date we were told it could not be done until the temperature was consistently above 32 degrees. Hence we were faced with having them hold our deposit - over $2400 - for months. We requested our depositi be returned. They complied but it took a month to get our money back after we requested it and the request was approved.

What a great company! I found them online after dealing with persistent soot issues from my high-efficiency boiler, which vents into a 9x13 masonry chimney flue. Even after the boiler company completed their yearly service, the boiler was caked with soot — and so was my house. It was everywhere. We are very happy with our experience with Safeside Chimney. We 1st met with Sergio, who was very friendly, thorough & professional in doing an assessment. His explanation was complete & easy to understand. We decided to have Safeside do the work. The team of workers were prompt, friendly & efficient. They completed the work on time, were neat & cleaned the area up before leaving. We highly recommend them for chimney work.

We had Safeside repoint and rebuild the top of both our chimneys. The crew was friendly, informative, and diligent. Our house was built in 1968 and has 2 chimneys which takes care of our 3 fireplaces and the furnace. The top several layers of bricks was falling apart on both chimneys and the mortar was loose and crumbling. The crew spent an entire week working. They were here promptly every morning and worked most days til 5. Cleaning up everyday and leaving the worksite safe. I would recommend them if you need any work done.
