SafeWay Chimney

All around great experience. Joseph the technician was a gentlemen and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. We had 3 other estimates but i just had a good feeling with these guys. Joe Walked us through entire job from start to finnish, Took before and after photos, did a lovely job re-facing our fireplace and did a great job cleaning up! No soot or dust in our house. They are my new chimney company for sure.

Great communication,Showed up on time, very professional, they did a wonderful job. I was very impressed at how neat and clean they kept my house. The supervisor Joe was was excellent and took the time to thoroughly explain everything step by step and he was very nice. Great company all around.

This company is utterly unreliable and unprofessional. They canceled numerous appointments to clean my chimneys. They came up with excuses, ranging from an employee being sick to the van breaking down. ultimately, they told me they would not claim my chimneys because of the age of my house, which was built in the 1760s. Of course, my furnace was installed much more recently than that, and the chimney has a steel liner. In addition, my woodstove was installed in 2007 and has a steel liner. This did not make a difference with them. avoid these clowns!

I wish I could give this company zero stars. My experience was, without a doubt, the worst I’ve ever had. The level of incompetence the staff has is unrealistic. It’s amazing how effective they are at poor planning. The “ummmm’s” and “who’s this again” speaks volumes to their ignorance. I had to call for updates for two consecutive weeks and they were like dogs chasing their tails. If this is any reflection to their aptitude, just image the quality of work they offer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

While persistent to make a well-priced sale, and schedule an appointment, I was stood-up twice. Based on the complete lack of reliability, I declined to reschedule a 3rd visit. I cannot say anything about their work quality however (which may be fine).
