Safeway Moving and Storage

I chose this company based on the positive reviews, and I must say my experience was very different. The movers did not speak English, and since I do not speak Russian, we used a phone translator, which is not very efficient as a lot gets lost in translation. Two boxes were not on the list when they left my storage space, even though I told the mover to include it. He told me not to worry... I had to call to make sure that they would be added on. The person unloading was alone, and very aggressive towards me, to the point where I asked a neighbor to be there because I did not feel safe. Bottom line one of my nesting tables was destroyed, and they lost one of my bins. The mover would not help me take off the wrapping paper they had all over my boxes, had to borrow a box cutter from my

John and his crew did an amazing job helping us pack and load a moving truck. They handled everything with care. Everyone was very kind, punctual, and quick considering the amount of furniture etc. involved. Everything was wrapped neatly and stored perfectly in the truck, and the price was very reasonable too. :) I would highly recommend John for all your packing/moving needs. Thanks guys!

This company, importantly, Mr. John Lazano who is the TOP MAN, was the most amazing in ALL his approaches to my move & as a senior widow, I really needed someone who also cared about the details!! WELL, JOHN DID & the other nice thing, is that he oversees the whole process! The truck he used was clean (important!) & he is such a great "organizer" too which made me confident that I myself, did not have to oversee them! (Lol 👍) That is a big deal because I did have one company in last move that seem to hire just about anyone they can get & had to keep asking if they wrap sensitive items & were not doing after saying so & other things I noticed...just not focused. I highly recommend Safeway Moving and Storage. Very professional and fair pricing. The move was on time and staff courteous. We were very impressed with the entire process from in person estimate to a seamless move day. We have moved often and this was the best by far. Do not look elsewhere, Safeway Moving is the very best choice!
