Stay far away - Rick took my $8k deposit and then disappeared and ghosted me. He never even ordered the pavers - was his plan from the get go. I believe he is not certified, which is a misdemeanor.

The owner of this company should not be doing business in the South Florida area. On February 24, 2022, I got home from the hospital with my newborn, my wife and I were really happy that day. I have agreed with Rick, the owner of Salt and Pepper Pool, to meet that same day at home to coordinate the fabrication of my pool which was halfway done. Rick gave me a $16k estimate to finish my pool and asked me for $8k at front and agreed to finish the job in a month or two. Mr. Rick dos sent one of his subs to start the pool copping, but two weeks into the job, they stop coming and at one point Mr. Rick stop taking my calls. DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMER POOL GUY! on 10/19/23 we paid Rick Wuest of Salt & Pepper Pools $5,800. to remarcite our pool. 10/24 he finished the job. Less than 2 weeks after white holes/chips appeared in the pools surface material. I have documented over 35 messages over the past 4 months to and from Rick promising to come out and drain and redo and fix the problem but as of today, March 4 he has not shown up. I just spent $500 on small claims court to try to get my money back and filed complaints with Broward County and the States AG office. This guy talks great up front but if you have a problem you're never going to see him again. Do not use this guy, he is not trustworthy to do a job correctly.
