Salter Stairs

As a builder, I rely on suppliers to deliver accurately and on time. My order with Salter Spiral Stairs initially arrived incomplete, which was frustrating given my project deadlines. Fortunately, Amy quickly stepped in — she was extremely helpful and understanding — and arranged to have the missing pieces shipped 2-day air. Mistakes can happen, but it means a lot when a company steps up and resolves them promptly. I’m grateful for their follow-through and Amy’s professionalism, and I would gladly recommend and order from them again.

We are incredibly happy with our Salter Spiral staircase!! The sales and customer service team were amazing and helped us figure out code standards and what stairs would work best for our house. We changed an attic into a fully functioning loft/play room and could not be happier! Super easy ordering and fast delivery!

The stairs turned out great! Customer service is top notch. They went over my order with me and verified everything was correct. I did have a small issue with the main post not threading together correctly. They resolved the issue for me immediately. It says a lot when a company owns their mistake and corrects it promptly. We ordered a galvanized spiral stair set for our outdoor deck and it was a major disappointment. Quality control seems to be lacking, and I'm very surprised the parts we received made it out their door. Many of the stair treads had splatter marks and blemishes, and some even had spots that were visibly rusted when we removed them from the box! The upper platforms we received were warped, which made it difficult for the contractor to install. We contacted Salter with photos of the defects and requested replacement. They initially resisted, but did finally agree to send another set after our contractor also informed them of his dissatisfaction. The replacement set we received had the same defects. We picked the parts with the least amount of defects between the sets and used them to assembl
