Sam's Club

I love being a member at Sam’s. We not only love the inexpensive items you can buy, but also love being able to grab a quick bite to eat in the café. The prices are always very competitive and the staff is very friendly and kind.

Today in afternoon; I have been waiting on customer service line for about 10 to 15 min, and only 1 person trying to help a customers before me and there was about 6 people on waiting line. I looked back and there 3 associates were talking to each other and laughing. None of them comes to help lady on customer service. I left the line and went to ask for supervisor. I asked an associate on way and she told me you get 3 supervisors right there ( by automatics checkpoint ). I went there to talk to a supervisor/ manger; he said “There is nothing we can’t do our workers are on holidays and can’t force them to came to work”. I hope your Ankeny club manger read this and let him judge his team member customer service they are providing people as I was expecting better help. So all in All; I le

Members perks are great including more affordable fuel, pickup/delivery and early access to the club depending on your membership level. I frequently use shipping and pick up due to a busy schedule and it has been great. Members Mark products are good quality and often more affordable.

Usually love Sams Club been a member for years. Always get what we need for pretty reasonable prices. The last two times I've been there, however, I have not had good experiences. A couple weeks back heard the manager tell the self checkout employee he needed 8 more credit cards by 2pm - I heard this conversation so by the time it was my turn to check out he was right next to me and before he spoke i said i know its your job to sell me a credit card but im not interested. And he got closer and started digging around in my cart explaining to me why I needed a credit card and how helpful it will be for gas and the groceries i got. Told him multiple times I wasn't interested and wasn't until I ignored him that he finally left me alone. Today, I again did self check out, the receipt printer

Was there on Saturday 1-24-26 At the checkout with $350 in groceries. 1 bottle of vodka. Waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come and verify my age. Told an employee what was going on and she said she would find someone. No one came. Tried to remove the vodka off my cart and it wouldn’t allow me to do so. Total BS. I will not be back to this store. Horrible service.
