Don’t recall this being here in 1997 I think it was a fabric and upholstery business but that’s very befitting for sf to have fencing academy there is so very much mixed culture here it’s always pleasant coming to the bay

Wonderful fencing club. Everyone at the club welcomed us. My kids have fenced elsewhere but this is by far the best academy for beginners. The coaches are very professional and dedicated to our children. The manager/owner runs the club with passion and commitment. This club is for those who are serious about fencing, as well as anyone interested in learning about the sport. The club offers private lessons, group classes, and coaching at major competitions. I highly recommend!

If you're kid is into fencing you know the challenges of finding a fencing club where there's a nice balance between class schedule, the quality of the coaches and price. SF Fencers' seems to have it all. I would vote it's a little pricey, but a good example of you get what you pay for. The kids working out here are fairly serious about the sport, the classes a little more in depth than most clubs, but the real difference is the coaches. Is it for everyone? Probably not. It's where you go when you're kid has decided fencing is something I really want to participate in.

Our son loves going there for lessons & group classes. Teaching is excellent. And everyone there are friendly and top notch.
