San Francisco Sabre Fencing

Both my son and daughter have been attending this fencing club since 2022, and we’ve had a fantastic experience. The coaches are excellent—not only do they focus on improving skills, but they also emphasize building strong foundations and, most importantly, fostering proper fencer’s manners. The club owner and fencer, Karen, is very attentive and open to feedback, constantly working to improve the program. Coach Nicholas is wonderful at engaging with parents, providing feedback, and staying involved in the students’ progress. I especially appreciate how the club encourages students to participate in local tournaments. Our kids have taken part once and loved the experience. Their coach even reviewed the videos we took, analyzed the results, and provided valuable advice for improvement. W

Came to SF Sabre Fencing to get info on my child's registration to their up-coming Summer Camp. Met with the Owner/Fencer Karen. She was really helpful in explaining the sport and gave enough over-view and a tour of the school. I'm very pleased with her level of professionalism.

Great club and program, good for beginners as well as those who want to compete. My family has been involved with this club for many years. I would also recommend sabre fencing specifically for beginners looking to check out the sport of fencing.

This is a great club that specializes in Sabre fencing. There is a good mix of kids and adult classes and I’ve had a lot of fun fencing at this club. I highly recommend this club and Sabre as a fencing discipline.

I love this place so much!!! I've been here for 3 months, and everyone here is so nice. The teachers are great, the students are plentiful, and the owner is lovely.
