In 2017, I stepped into Sarkisian’s Rugs & Fine Art on Speer Blvd, Denver, chasing the solace of Oriental Art’s intricate patterns, only to find my pain reflected in their threads. The gallery gleamed with elegance, staff politely peddling their wares, but my heart was shattered—my young son, torn from me by the state, would never see the rug I chose. Not some mythical Solomon Rug to weave us back together, just a costly relic I paid off, left untouched in a Rhode Island P.O. Box until 2020. Oh, how their artistry dazzles, yet it couldn’t mend my broken world. This stop, like my 100 Google reviews across Denver, carries my grief’s sharp edge. Sarkisian’s sells beauty, but bring your own healing.

It’s not only a store with rare, amazing items-it’s an experience. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend visiting. Super friendly & helpful staff. Great value for one of a kind pieces!

Sarkisian's Denver! Wow... this place is fantastic. If you have any interest in old world markets and souks, you definitely have to make a trip. Rugs, masks, furniture and everything in between. Medill, the owner, was awesome and all of their staff was very knowledgeable of the rugs we were interested in. Fair pricing and an incredible inventory! Highly recommended

A great place to buy an oriental rug. These people are super friendly, helpful, and honest. Their prices are reasonable, unlike many of the Denver dealers who have absurdly inflated sticker prices. I got a great deal on the rug I wanted, and the buying process couldn’t have been better. I recommend these guys without reservation. Check them out BEFORE you buy a rug in Denver.
