We hired Jesse & he then hired subcontractors. To echo another review of SAW construction: He & his team could never follow a schedule and wouldn’t show up when they said they would. In fact, one Saturday when Jesse promised they’d complete the job enough to protect the house from incoming weather & they never came by. Jesse finally texted back that day in the afternoon, “sorry, I forgot. I was watching my nieces,” in response to our query: “where are you?” Well as predicted that night there was a deluge, downstairs flooded, destroyed the floors, etc., and we were up until 3AM trying to bail out 4 inches of standing water. They also did not clean up after themselves leaving trash, food containers, even clothes, and construction debris including hundreds of nails.

We hired Jessie to install a new French door to close off an existing room. He had a subcontractor come instead of him. It took 4 trips out to get the door to stay closed correctly. The drywall repair looked horrible and we had to bring out a different contractor to redo it. His team could never follow a schedule and would show up without notice. They didn’t have the supplies needed to complete the work and would ask us for things like saws, brooms, mops. They also did not do anything to protect our wood floors during the process. Causing drywall to be everywhere including our vents.

SAW construction exceeded all of my expectations. Elizabeth responded to my questions and concerns promptly . Jessie built us a custom fireplace mantle using high quality materials and took the time to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. I will definitely use this company again for future projects.

Absolutely terrific! I cannot say enough about the experience I had with Jesse and SAW Construction. We wanted an ADU and they took us through every step from design to completion. Communication was effortless and punctual, every stage was completed timely and with care, design was flawless! We couldn't be more satisfied with the process or the result! We were skeptical about hiring a contractor after a few bad experiences...but from the very beginning this was an awesome experience! We were comfortable with the no-pressure approach and flexibility with scheduling the consultation; Jesse was able to answer all of our questions and reassured us with his knowledge and expertise as well as professionalism!
