I worked with SBC to build our new patio and screened in porch. It was a great result and we are very happy with the team. Justin started the process off by helping us visualize everything with 3D renderings. This part was very helpful in getting us to sign on with them. We had several bids from other companies that didn't work as hard at this phase. After that, there was a wait for the permits to come through. Stay on top of that and keep in communcation it can take a while. It did in our case. Once we got the permits, Our project manager JC took over. He was really exceptional and took us from breaking ground to finished product with great care. We recently contracted SBC Outdoor Services to enact a vacant lot revitalization in a South Baltimore Neighborhood. It was an EXTREMELY pleasant experience start to finish. The consultation phase with Brad Vecere was thorough and professional. He made sure that SBC understood our exact needs and our vision for the project before they put one shovel to the ground. The project manager Keith Blucher was prompt with updates (with pictures!) and worked daily to tackle all problems and obstacles that cropped up (as they always do) as he and his crew were bringing our vision to life. After talking to a few different contractors, we decided to go with SBC and are so glad we did! Our project manager, JC, was fantastic—he answered all our questions, addressed any concerns we had along the way, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. He was always kind, reasonable, and fair, which made us feel confident in his recommendations and decisions. I had a retaining wall in my back yard that was failing. I went to the home and garden show in March and met someone there representing SBC Outdoor Services. By April, I reached out for a consultation. For 5 months I worked with Brad V. designing and redesigning my wall. He was so patient and so nice and would email me renderings of what it would look like. I was so comfortable working with him that I did not call another contractor in. In fact I was so confident in this company that we worked up plans for a new deck and a new front porch and stone walkway which was never a thought in my mind. I hired SBC to transform my backyard. I had a totally unusable deck and they designed and installed a patio, pergola, stairs, and lighting. Chris, our salesperson/designer, was totally communicative and worked with us through multiple iterations of our proposal to come up with a solution that was cost-effective without sacrificing the gist of what we wanted to accomplish. We thought the project wouldn't begin until the end of July, but SBC under-promised and over-delivered with a start well ahead of schedule and completion in time for a birthday blowout. High quality, fast, conscientious about cleanup, just can't say enough positive things about the experience. Highly recommend.
