We contracted with Scherr in Feb 2026 to do tilework associated with our bathroom remodel. Garrett Barker was our sales rep. He was very pleasant to deal with, he listened to our needs, he offered good advice and alternatives that we hadn’t considered, and he followed up promptly. What a difference from another company’s sales rep who didn’t listen to our needs, and who was interested only in pushing a sale that day. Scherr’s pricing was good, too. John was the tech who did the actual work, and he did a fantastic job that saved us some additional money. We will definitely do business with Scherr on other projects thanks to Garrett and John’s work quality and the trust they earned.

Gavin, Zach and their team were phenomenal and I couldn't recommend them more. We used Scherr Contracting to remodel our kitchen and it was a great experience. They approached the job in a manner that made us feel that our opinions and ideas were not only valued, but heard and directly implemented into the design and finishing of the project. Gavin and Zach were very professional, but also incredibly personable like we had known them for years. Their carpenters and subcontractors were very friendly and highly skilled. We recently finished a full kitchen and first-floor remodel with Scherr Contracting, and the whole experience was fantastic. They had been highly recommended to us by an interior decorator (Homewood Interiors), and they also had completed a project for our good friends which turned out stunning. We were so happy we chose them! Our project manager Craig was great, he consistently responded immediately via text, phone, or email. Friends of ours recommended Scherr Contracting to us. Scherr Contracting did a complete gut of our old 70's kitchen and putting new flooring down on our entire main floor. They stayed within budget, within the estimated time frame, and always communicated with me through out the entire process. Their crew was always friendly, on time, and do GREAT work.
