I want to start by praising Jena R. She is why they got two stars instead of one. I'll start with minor issues before the major one. Schoch uses an account system and does not afford their employees read-only access into the bids of other employees. If your person isn't in, you can't get much help. This slows the process down. It was difficult to learn per-square-foot pricing. I had a long phone call with them where I had to get them to look stuff up for me. They had to contact suppliers for more information. How this information is not readily available is baffling. The customer has a reasonable expectation of knowing prices. When my order arrived, I was asked to call ahead before retrieving. We have used Schoch Tile for several projects and are extremely happy in their work and products. Kathy helped me with my tile selections and Artie helped throughout our project. We had a small issue with a spot in our kitchen tile work and Artie sent someone out the next day to correct it. We will definitely use them again.

I wish I could give -5 stars. My experience with Schoch Tile and Carpet was abysmal. They did the tile work and the carpet installation in my newly built Drees home. The tile was the first to have issues. First, the shower was not level when completed and had to be completely redone so the water would drain. Then we found peeling tiles after a month or so. They came and did a quick fix and called it a day. Less than a month later the tile began to peel again. They came back and this time put real effort into a repair. So far, things seem okay. Fingers crossed. Now, onto the carpet. They installed our carpet and did such a bad job with the edges that I could literally lift the carpet up with my hand and see the padding and the floor boards. They came FOUR separate times to “fix it.” The

My recent experience with Schoch was very positive! I called in needing some quick information. Artie went above and beyond! He has quick to assist, very informative, very professional, and had genuine interest in helping me resolve my issues. I highly recommend this company. It was refreshing to work with someone who cares about the customer and the work, not just about getting paid for a job.

Schoch Tile just installed a backsplash at our home. The whole process of picking out tile with Kathy, measuring and deciding on grout and how the work would be done with Artie, through installation with Eric was seamless. The finished product is beautiful - Eric is a tile craftsman and I am thrilled with the result!
