I had the pleasure of getting to know Shannon Hubbs the past 6 years through a local-to-Columbus networking group (H7 Network). Had ten members of our family at a private party with Shannon. Her studio is at a beautiful, relaxing location in the country, and inside was just as great. She had the paints all ready on plates for us, kept our water cups filled with clean water for our brushes, and played music while we painted (our choice of genre). She allows refreshments to be brought in. For the painting, she goes step by step and doesn't leave anyone behind. Has a sample already done, but paints another with you during the class. Very encouraging, especially for the nervous folks. Would recommend!!

Scioto Paint Parties brought their business to my event in August. Shannon did a wonderful job of teaching both pre-teen children and adults together. It was a very popular activity and I look forward to her returning every year to Books in the Barn to teach more people how to use their hidden talents and be creative with paints and music!
