Scruggs( River street)

Poor customer service! Order 10 tons of rock and 18 tons of dirt an got 18 tons of play sand... What a bunch sorry service. They wouldn't make it good. Plus the pavement company just screw the brooks co. Taxes payer on road work...

Very good selection of brick and pavers to choose from. Layton helped us with our selection of brick and mortar for our new build. Here they have a section of wall bricked up with each style of brick, and some with different mortars. This made it much easier to visualize a finished product. In other places we visited all you had to look at was a few sample bricks on a small board. Same thing with the pavers. Rather than just look at some pavers stacked on a pallet you can walk around on top of a section of each and get a better feel for what you like.

If you hire this company, DO NOT plan anything else for the rest of your day. In the world of business 9:45am means 9:45am. When a customer is paying for your product, the least you can do is act like their time is of some type of value to you. It is now 11:01am and the truck is pulling in as we speak. Mind you, at 10:05am we had to call Scruggs, I guess Jake needed a little reminder of the appointment he set with his customer. His response to our first call was "uhh we're about to load it up in five minutes and head that way". Okay...fine...so 15...20....30...45 minutes go by and still...nothing. At 10:50 the customer called Scruggs, asked to speak with Jake, she was frustrated, rightfully so. She explained that she was paying her hired help by the hour and was wondering what the hold up
