Sea Island Moving & Storage

Sea Island Bonded Storage damaged a large portion of my shipment (over $30,000 paid out) and was in possession of my items the entire time. Blatant disregard for securing items. Packed axe in box with antique mirror. Ripped bookshelf in half and delivered half. Destroyed both washer and dryer. Destroyed dining room suit. broke a 4x4 rail on a $1500 bed that I could have ran over with my car and not broken. Damaged both the house they moved out of and the house they moved me into. Cameras full of salt. Almost 200 items of 380 lots shipped were broken. To the response that they don't have a move for me in the past 3 years, I'm 100% they remember me without the name but the service member's last name was Captain R****

The people who packed our stuff were very nice. However, upon reaching our destination and unpacking we notice they packed heavy swords of my husbands in with our flatscreen 3D tv, on the screen side. Wine glasses and a coffee pot were packed in boxes with large appliances on top. All broken. They packed things we asked them not to pack, which we now have to ship back to Georgia since they don't belong to us. All sorts of items were left loose and stuffed in random boxes together. Our mattresses were put in plastic which was easily caught on something during the move so we now have holes in the pillow top of our king bed. The contents of my sons room were just thrown in a box together. 6,000 bbs spilled out all over our floor here since the jar was just thrown in a box, that was fun to cl

Highly recommend!! Brenda was very friendly and helpful when I called. The moving crew was efficient, moved each piece with care and pleasant. These guys know what they are doing and how to do it.

Horrible experience. We got to our new home and started to unpack our things only to find that things were just thrown in boxes and most of them were broken. They packed two TVs in one box and placed the stands for them in between the screens and and cracked tvs. They placed heavy items on top of my entertainment center causing the top to bow. They didnt even box my microwave and then placed heavy items on top of it, causing it to be dented. Between the packers and the moving company most of our things were dented, broken, or missing completely ( bookshelves, the bench to my dining table, family photos, ect.). This was a military move, so we didn't get to choose the companies but I'd never choose to have them move us again.

Professional, responsive, flexible -- everything we needed during two very difficult moves that included offices, classrooms, a library, and several science labs. We would have been sunk without Sea Island Bonded Storage!
