Sears Appliance Repair

The tech didn't even want to do the diagnostic to see what the problem was after i told him the issue with my dryer. He told me how much it would cost to repair my issue. After i declined the repair service he wanted to just collect the diagnostic fee and leave. I asked him to at least do the diagnostic he did then he wanted to collect his fee without confirming what i thought it was. I had to ask him what was the problem. All he wanted me to do is to purchase the warranty that would not go into effect until after 30 days. Never again Sears Home Warranty.

I reported my problem in early October, the first tech came on Oct17, parts delivered 22Oct and it was just repaired today Nov13. The tech today, Ricardo was very nice and extremely efficient. I wish Sears would’ve been more responsive to me as a customer though. For that part I give a 1.

All they did was watch it do 1 spin cycle, couldn’t describe to me why the drum needed to be replaced, then told me the part wasn’t available anyways. Had to pay the diagnostic fee for a repair they were incapable of completing or even describing. The service is a scam because they don’t even stock the parts to make the repairs.

Anthony is an excellent service technician. He arrived on time as well as being a courteous and conscientious technician. He explained in detail the necessary repair and performed it in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend his services in the future as well as a raise. God bless you!

The technician was very nice, friendly and professional but my refrigerator still is freezing everything. My refrigerator is very old, and I think I need a tech who's had some experience with older models. UPDATE: I reached out to the number below and could not reach anyone. They have no live agents only a AI agent which can only schedule another appointment. The AI agent was sure to inform me that I would have to pay an additional service fee if it was another issues. Only problems is my original issue has not been resolved. My refrigerator is still freezing almost everything even though both the freezer and refrigerators are set at the lowest levels.
