zero stars bc Sears has been nothing but problems since JUNE. i have not had AC, the tech Jerome is incompetent, they have come out over 10 times and still haven’t diagnosed the issue. replaced wires, capacitor, and put the wrong size in. & says it’s the homeowners fault. made the capacitor catch fire, and denies everything, will not give you a receipt for ANYTHING. and Jerome constantly argues with the customer as if he lives there himself, he will not listen and refuses to work on the AC bc he cannot take accountability for the things he’s messed up. it’s almost december and i still do not have AC IN LOUISIANA. i have video proof of the tech yelling at the homeowner & refusing to tell us the issue. this place and people are the biggest joke. do not waste your money with this horrible co

The Tech arrived ahead of scheduled time and was nice. Unfortunately he was at our home all of 7 minutes to collect payment and tell me they did not have a part and the part they did have would run me $645 and that was only a partial fix. When I called they could have asked for the model and serial number and told me that over the phone, instead of sending a Tech out to do that.

Very thorough, good communicator, polite, went out of his way to help and knowledge. Byron was great. The AI service and not being able to talk to someone until a service technician comes is terrible. Even the phone number on my CC didn’t work. It was a non working phone number.

I had a very disappointing experience with Sears Appliance Repair. While my technician was initially courteous, there was clear miscommunication regarding the diagnostic cost and service charges. During the visit, I overheard the technician speaking with his supervisor to clarify pricing, and to my surprise, the supervisor spoke negatively about me as a potential customer—suggesting I was trying to “get over on them.” In truth, I was simply seeking clarity about a misunderstanding on their end. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. It completely undermined my trust in the company. I chose not to move forward with the service and will not be doing business with Sears in the future. I’ll also be advising others to look elsewhere for appliance repair services, as this experience

I was very happy to get my dryer fixed so quickly! It stopped working on Saturday and Donnie from Sears had it repaired by 11am Monday morning. This was something I did not want to have to struggle with before Christmas. Donnie made the experience a positive one! Thanks!
