Sears Appliance Repair

I scheduled an appointment with Sears Home Advantage to repair my washer. I had already diagnosed the problem, removed the back panel, and explained to the technician that I just needed the repair done. Unfortunately, it was clear he had no idea what he was doing. He didn’t even know how to drain the tub and was asking me how to drain the washer. Instead of taking anything apart, he ran a couple of quick cycles and shined a flashlight around, claiming he was trying to locate the leak. He never found it and eventually gave up. Despite doing nothing to diagnose or repair the issue, he tried to charge me $129. I refused to pay, and he said “fine” and left. Our oven manufacturer no longer has parts. He was great and explained the testing process.

The technician was fine. Told me I would have to wait for my parts until the 31st. That was three weeks. He said if they came in sooner to call and they would come out and install them earlier. There is absolutely no way of contacting you. My parts came in in two days. So we rescheduled online got a confirmation had to leave where I was that day. Came home to wait for a technician that never Called or showed up. No way to contact anybody again. Rescheduled again for the next day came home again. No one called or showed up again! Called Home warranty because you are not available. They tried and said they were finally able to get a hold of you and there would be somebody out on Saturday even though I had my son flying in from out of state. I was available! No one called no one came again.

My technician is quick, efficient, spot on and right on time. Very nice guy too.
