Sears Appliance Repair

These people SUCK. Have been waiting for a technician to come to our home and repair our dishwasher, they have ordered the parts and have been here for weeks. And the technician has rescheduled the day off our appointment, FOUR times in a row. After making us wait all day for time window. I would understand if something came up and they cancel and reschedule at their earliest convenience. But to make us sit around and wait ALL day. And after confirming “we are the next stop” to turn around and just basically tell us to kick rocks. Very unprofessional. And the fact they cannot reach out to us themselves. They have to use the AI to let us know. We haven’t spoken with an actual individual from this business SINCE our claim. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

I would love to give Bradley a 5 star because he was curteous, explained everything to us that we needed to know and he was as quick as he could be with the fixes. However, sears was hard to communicate with, they rescheduled us 3 times without prior notice, an explanation, or anyone real contact beyond an email. Including the 2nd time they rescheduled us at 11:30 am when the service window was that same day between 8-5. Their service windows are a joke for anyone working and their customer service line was absolutely no help. I waited to make a review to see if our stove top was actually fixed. It was not. Even with replacing ALL of the burners, the stove was leaking gas and we had to fully replace it a month later after my entire house smelled of gas. Brad gets 5 stars, Sears appliance r

I had Bradley before. He does a good job and very knowledgeable. Answers any questions I have. I will say that getting a hold of a real person and not AI is lacking. And then when you talk to someone they are very difficult to understand.

The technician was great, but the Sears repair policy was terrible and overpriced. I paid the diagnostic fee of $129 instead of the repair cost of over $500, with an estimated return date for repairs in a week. Not acceptable for that price. A heating element and idler pulley are frequently replaced items on a dryer. Not to have parts on hand to perform repairs the same day is a shame. My model and serial numbers were submitted to Sears before the appointment, and I gave detailed information about what was wrong with the dryer. Should have been easy to have a few parts on hand to perform the repairs. What a waste of time and money.
