Sears Appliance Repair

Kade was here to evaluate why my refrigerator was leaking water. He discovered that the cause of the leak was due to damage to the water line caused by pests. Since my Home Warranty denied the claim, Kade was unable to proceed with anything so I paid nothing at this time. I will be in contact to reschedule after I secure the necessary water line.

Scheduled Sears home service for a repair. I scheduled it 2 weeks in advance and made sure I was home from work to have this done. They will give you a window of between 8am-5pm -so your entire day is shot. They kept texting to offer earlier appointments, but I work, so I kept my appointment date. On the day of my appointment, the tech calls me to tell me he has car trouble and won’t be out til later. Then he calls me later in the day to tell me he can’t come out at all, because his car won’t be fixed until 5pm. Well, then come out at 5pm. I was told “oh no, we don’t work past 5pm” -that’s not really my problem! Nope, wouldn’t budge or provide any sort of customer service. I don’t even have a star to give because the customer service is so horrendous! They rescheduled me 4 times making me wait at home, taking time off because their window is between 8-5 and around 11 AM.they would send a text saying they had to reschedule. When you call you get an automated service and when you finally reach a person and ask for the person In charge they won’t transfer you. Then when they do reschedule it’s a month out again! Horrible horrible service!!BEWARE!! Never do business with them I can see why sears went bankrupt

I have been without a working oven since March and the Sears Home Warranty website would not let me explain the two issues it has. #1 the clips that hold the control panel must have fell out and has exposed wiring; #2 the oven’s lower heater element does not work. But the work order says only range repair. So they mailed me this large unusable sticker of my control panel and then the 2nd part that is causing multiple rescheduling is a timer because they can’t order: /find one. All it takes is for me to send my pictures to a technician so they get it. If I have to talk to another AI Samantha, I’m going to loose my shit! Chris was very nice and to the point. He checked out the refrigerator and give me the bad news. It is no good and we will get a new one. Parts cost is out of site.
