Sears Appliance Repair

Shaun was great. Inventory said he didn't have the part we needed. He looked and found it. Our gas dryer was not heating up. Due to being a older dryer, and the venting system, and plugged up vent to outside. Granted now I need to go get new u ridged pipes from the dryer to outside. He was so helpful at explaining what he was doing, parts, and very helpful about trying to help us save money in the long run, if we were to get the basic warranty plan for all the appliances in our home. Thank you Sears for your time, and sending a great appliance repair man.. And thank you Shaun for being very functional, and professional..

Oscar was a pleasant surprise. He was on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired the dryer in short order. He was nice to deal with someone who knows what he's doing.

I have never experienced a service guy as terrible as he was. He didn't even bend over to look inside the dishwasher. He didn't even pull the bottom tray out to inspect the bottom of the dishwasher. He walked in, took a photo of the model number, turned it on, and within 2 minutes told me he'd fix it for $615! That's more than I paid for the dishwasher so he said, "Doesn't seem to be economical to fix it, so I should just mark that you're declining? That'll be $120 for me to come out." I thought I was paying $120 for the person to LOOK AT the dishwasher, which he didn't even do!! Complete rip off and completely lazy "service." Sears used to be reputable. Our Samsung refrigerator and freezer were not cooling properly, so I scheduled an appointment to have a Sears service technician. The Sears Home Service web page lists Samsung as one of the brands they service. Two service technicians arrived on Saturday, 11/22/2025. They went to work to fix the issue, doing the things they thought would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, after I paid the $125.55 for the service call, I found that the problem had not been fixed. So, we scheduled a followup appointment to get the service technicians out to take a second attempt to fix the issue. Apparently, the problem is that the appliance needs a new compressor. They said that they could not fix the problem because they don‘t have access to Samsung repair parts. Why in the world would the web page claim th

Great experience, I was sent the part and then the technician came. He even upsold me for a cleaning of both washer and dryer. After seeing the pictures it was much needed. Oscar was great!!
