My experience with Sears Appliance Repair has been extremely disappointing. The same technician visited my home twice—first in December, when he said he couldn’t complete diagnostics due to cold weather and instructed us to keep the unit OFF until he returned. We followed those instructions exactly. When he came back in March, he never mentioned SR22 or any required steps we supposedly “refused.” Instead, he immediately said the compressor was bad, then later claimed the unit was run without refrigerant—something that is completely untrue. The unit was off the entire time. Because of the technician’s inaccurate notes, my claim was denied based on false information. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and incorrect documentation have caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

Technician was knowledgeable of what he was doing although my microwave could not be fixed at the moment he stated that there were several parts that my microwave needed

This tech was sent by my home warranty company. He took no tools to the yard and was there less than 3 minutes. I explained to him that I had had a private company to come out and told him what their diagnosis was. He balked at it and left. This was not a proper diagnosis of the problem.
