Sears Appliance Repair

I am extremely disappointed with Sears Home Services and feel compelled to warn others before signing up for their home repair plan. I have been dealing with an ongoing issue for months, spending countless hours on the phone, only to be denied the very service and refund their own representatives promised and that I am paying for monthly. I followed every step, submitted every document, and trusted their employees when they told me I would be reimbursed in full for my repair cost. After years of paying for this protection plan—and barely using it—I was shocked to find out that they refused to refund my $1,200 repair, even though I was told multiple times it would be covered. Don actually came early, was polite and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed my issue and fixed my freon leak. The last service call I had on April 7 was not good. All the guy did is put in freon but that did not fix the issue as 10 days later it went out again. He did do regular maintenance but did not even tell me I had a freon leak. I had a feeling there was more to it and was watching my thermostat even since 1st guys visit. Because of him I may cancel my protection agreement.

David is very nice but Sears Protect Home Warranty is a scam! They made appointments after appointments and cancelled them the same day at 3:00pm after I stayed home from work all day. Sears doesn't fix anything nor do they replace the item. Sears strings you along by making and then cancelling appointments.

Once again, they've canceled the repair without reason or explanation. This is the fourth time. Besides, I always request that you send the COI to the Management Office before the technician arrives, and you never do, and then cancel it.

I was so happy to get this expert technician who was both very knowledgeable and polite. Thank you Sears, for sending him to our home. Because of him, the problem was resolved and we were given suggestions how to maintaining our appliance better. This was well worth the cost of visit.
