Sears Appliance Repair

Can't say I'm happy with this service. Repair man came in, pushed the buttons on the washer like I could do, didn't open up the unit, quoted me $1300 in parts and labor to fix, and charged $130 for the time. My son opened it up later, found 1 bad part for $15 on Amazon, and its working. When I call a repair man, I guess I expect him to actually get down and open the thing up, show me what's wrong for the money, but there was no bending down at all... UPDATE: Impossible to get a human or a refund from the number or website they responded with, buyer beware.

Warning!Warning! Do Not Use!! A negative -10! Sears Home Repair (contractor) to American Home Shield is one of the Worst repairs companies ever (Sears@$100.00)I've Emillo ordered wrong color knobs for stove, the part didn't fit. Hesaid we had no choice but to keep them as long as they were working, Sears sent Alex out & he said that No home warranty would replace the knobs but my plan do. AHS(No! Good eitherAHS@$156.00 a mo.) Alex told them that we missed used the knobs! (You're supposed to turn the knobs to use them,right?)We have spent ($256.00) all together & have not gotten replacement knobs, yet? The math is not working and neither is Sears Home Repair(Emmilo,Alex) or American Home Shield!

I was told the diagnostic fee was $129. The technician came, looked at my dryer, saw the gas lever was turned off and still took apart the dryer. He did that in about 5min to just confirm that it was due to the gas lever being off that no heat was coming from the dryer. He charges $160 plus tax for labor but my diagnostic fee was “waived”. He didn’t fix anything and he didn’t perform any additional “labor” aside from what was needed to diagnose the problem. he didn’t provide a receipt or reason why labor was charged.. absolute scam. I had to call the following day to get a receipt and see the breakdown of the “cost” of “services” provided. Do better Sears!..and please hire technicians that are honest and transparent.

The repairman was prompt and fast in both diagnosing the problem and making the repair. The system of delivering parts to our house was both slow and confusing with very little assistance from the Sears messaging AI system. We would not use Sears again because of this confusing and slow delivery of parts.

Sears service technician was extremely polite and experienced. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. Would give him 10 stars if I could. Thank you!
