Sears Appliance Repair

The technician Mr. Roman T. Installed the PULLEY-IDR and the BELT in my dryer and when he tested was doing a wrong noise. He said than took him 1 hour and Sears has 1 hour /per house time limit , and he didn’t know what to do to fix the noise! He closed the dryer all misaligned and he said he had to leave!! I firmly disagree and: 1- I asked him to call a senior advisor to learn what to do since he has only 4 years fixing appliances and he refused to call for technical advisers. 2- I asked to call the dispatcher to allow him to stay longer than 1 hour to fix my drier and he refused! 3- I asked the forms to sign since he refused all above requests and he said there was no forms or receipt! 4- I never received my email with the receipt of what was done as always receive from Sears after t

Technician got to the house 15 mins earlier which was great. He came to check/repair the freezer on our fridge, he struggled to get the drawer out to check the back of the fridge, it took him a good 20-25 mins to get it done, he was constantly checking diagrams on his phone which makes me think he was not familiar with our Kenmore fridge. While he was doing this all of my frozen goods were out on the counters of my kitchen. After he got the drawer out he asked if he could use our powder room and he was there for another 10 mins aprox. The actual repair took no time but by the time he was done most of the frozen stuff was already thawing, as he was getting ready to leave he told me that because the drawer was open for so long the freezer was not going to reach the optimal temperature for 10

Started out ok. The technician came out analyzing the freezer. Some history. The fridge was working fine. The freezer was loosing temperature slowly over a period over weeks. Per the technician, the electronic board was faulty and need to be replaced. Total close to $500 for the board and about the same for labor. After 3 weeks I was assured that it was fixed. Short, three days later after running it, the temperature in the freezer did not drop. THE FREEZER IS NOT FIXED. Now I'm trying to get in contact with Sears to get them out again to get it fixed.

★☆☆☆☆ Extremely frustrating experience. On two separate visits, the technician was asked not to park in our driveway so other cars could access the garage, he moved briefly, then parked there again. When he returned days later to work on the microwave again (after shipping the wrong part on 3 different occasions). He mentioned that Sears would then replace the appliance. When asked about the replacement he’d mentioned, he became dismissive and deflected responsibility, acting as if coordination was not his problem or responsibility. It has now been over a month, and Sears or its affiliate has neither fixed the microwave nor provided clear answers on a replacement. Adding to the frustration, the only access to customer service is an unhelpful phone bot with no clear path to a real person

If I could give Roman 10 stars I would. He was very professional. He left the area better than he found it. He also saved me a big trip to the laundromat. I can’t thank you enough.
