Sears Appliance Repair

My tech called to let me know he was 10 minutes away. He was quick and very efficient. He did the repair and gave me a quote for another repair as well as scheduled me for that one very quickly.

Ned, the technical was great! He diagnosed the problem, and corrected the issue. Sears management needs to be more respectful of their customer’s time by narrowing the service window. An 8:00 am to 5:00 pm window is very inconvenient. If my issue was not covered through the manufacturer’s warranty, I would not hire Sears service because of their policy of an 8:00 to 5:00 service window!

This service experience was horrible. Not the tech, but company fault. This system of a 9 hour window and no live person able to update is unsatisfactory. My time is valuable and the attempts at updating the service window were futile with AI support. The tech arrived more than 1 hour later than the end of the window..5pm. I was stuck in my home all day, 2 days before Xmas.

First off the problem was identified, part ordered, delivered and installed. The Tech was great. Good job but other than the tech you talk to nobody. Just an awful experience. They canceled the first repair at 3:30pm the day of 8-5 service. Rescheduled for two days later and they showed up. But 2 people. They should tell you that up front. Tried to sell me a maint contract. I declined. Other than the tech….everything else was one of the worst I have ever experienced.

Luis and his assistant came in and diagnosed the problem and quickly found out the issue. We lucked out that they had a new part in there van and replaced the old cracked one; in addition there was an issue with the interior light of the dryer and Luis’s assistant quickly that the old bulb housing remains were still inside, he wa able to remove it and replace a new bulb that we had. These two guys are an awesome team!
