Sears Appliance Repair

Had a technician come and just tap two dongles onto the outlet and plug of my dryer only for them to tell me that everything's fine, EXCEPT my outlet. So, I called an electrician and he did the EXACT same test and told me that the outlet was producing power. At this point, I feel i didn't get $120+ worth of service. I don't even know how to call them and ask them what the hell that was even about. God bless the modern day market, am I right?

“Sears” sends out different contractors that apparently can charge whatever they want. I thought I could trust Sears so contacted them first for a leaking water filter housing on my fridge. I was quoted almost $800 for this simple fix and not all of the items I wanted fixed were even addressed. The charges for parts were over 3 times what Sears sells them for on their parts website (simple things like a water line). One part, a simple filter cap that costs about $9 came directly from Amazon and I was charged $108 by the technician. There was no logic to what I was charged for the parts. The technician also dismissed me when I told him the water valve was also not shutting off. When I tried to talk to someone about the parts charges I was constantly dealing with AI. I was given three differ

The service technician Eduardo was great, unfortunately the first technician didn’t order all the necessary parts originally. Eduardo did a partial repair so we could use the appliance while waiting for the extra part. Once the additional part came in the repair was made completely.

Sears needs to revisit their processes of a combination of AI and foreign Customer Service Representatives to schedule appointments and rule of 8-5 window of repair times. The technicians Ben and Neal did a great job. Fyi, I have a warranty with a separate company and was assigned Sears Appliance Repair.

The Sears repairman, George was very friendly & nice. He tested 2 quick loads of clothes to see if he could recreate the issue with my washing machine. He just adjusted the foot on the machine & it seemed to fix it. Hope that's all it was.
