Sears Appliance Repair

I paid a Sears repairman $300 to fix my washer (with code OE draining issue). He showed up late, spent 20 minutes in my laundry room then packed up his gear, said it was fixed, handed me the bill and left. When I used the washer an hour later it showed code OE as it did before the repairman arrived. The company made no effort to deal with the issue and, after 3 days of calling to complain they closed my repair order. I managed to get a portion of my money back but they refuse to refund the "Technician fee" of $129. So in essence I paid a man to do nothing.

The repair tech was great but this company is nothing but a scam. They quoted me $130 to come repair my dryer and said the part would be covered under my 10 year limited part warranty. Cost jumped to $350 to replace a $35 part in less than 2 minutes. Trying to get in touch with anybody to discuss everything is a nightmare. Find another company to do your repairs!

Tech was very professional and knowledgeable of his job.

The technician never came, after I had rescheduled twice, which took over two weeks by the way. He literally came in the driveway, just pulled right back out and never came back. I got a call at the time of the repair which just flashed for a bit. Like when someone calls and just immediately hangs up. I tried calling back multiple times, but it went straight to voicemail. This was for a warranty repair by the way, in which the washer broke within the first few uses. I can’t even get someone competent and fast to come out to fix it unless I want to pay for it myself. It’s just such a frustrating and annoying experience.

The technician came early which was good. He was so knowledgeable about our washer and dryer. He made the changes on both appliances. It was a pleasure to have the technician in our home.
