Sears Appliance Repair

Very considerate. Service was excellent. Left everything clean and neat. It is still staying at 25. Not sure what next step should be.

Serviceman diagnosed problem easily, but ignored information provided ahead of call and didn't have part available for a non emergency call. Quoted $372 for a part selling for $22-$29 on Amazon and $240 on their website on top of labor charges, but stuck with service call fees otherwise. Unable to find a human to discuss issue on phone, website, or email. Not sure what the next step would be other than to contact the authorities for price gouging? Edit: I emailed the address provided and was told that I was charged correctly for the part, that it was the company's intention to sell the $29 part delivered from Amazon to me for $372.

Sr tech and tech were fabulous. Explained everything. AI cancelled our appt and fortunately they called to see if I cancelled and told them I had not so they came and I am so grateful.

The Sears reps seemed very knowledgeable. But $129 they never opened up my washer. I feel hustled! I told them the problem ahead of appointment. At first the said it was the drainage pump; $392 (amazon $29.92). I wanted to just pay for the pump and get the work done. Then they claimed the drum was the main issue. With no proper inspection; pure speculation. The drum price is $1800 ($292-$320 google) They said it was the same problem with the call they had last night; BS. They said the drum part was discontinued and that's a lie.! The part for my washer is available. You can google it. But i was discouraged for fixing anything. Even though I requested to pay for the pump, when the rep called it was only the fee to be paid. And told to buy a new washer. I am very disappointed with this whol

My appt was scheduled for between 8am-5pm (what kind of insane window is that?). Had to take the day off of work & they showed up @ 7:50pm!!! Tech was so rude & condescending. My stove (Frigidaire) is still under manufacturer's warranty since it's only one month old. I had to go with repair people they sent out, I had no choice. Horrible company, ZERO customer service. There's no contact info that gets you in touch with an actual human being.
