Seaside Ace Hardware

I purchased a heavy duty outdoor Master Lock for my driveway gate about a month ago. After a recent freeze, the lock completely seized and would not open. Even once temperatures rose, it remained stuck effectively locking me inside my own property. I expected better performance and durability from a higher-priced, name-brand product marketed specifically for exterior use. Unfortunately, I no longer had the receipt when I returned to Ace to inquire about a possible credit. The manager informed me that if moisture had entered the lock, there was nothing he could do. There was no flexibility, no apology, and no acknowledgment that a lock sold for outdoor use should reasonably withstand basic weather conditions. Went and grabbed some nets and crab supplies to catch and release some crab on the beach. Most the crabs were babies and less than 5 inches but you lift rocks up there are a couple spots where the crabs are everywhere. The largest one we caught were 3 inches. Ace hardware deserves 5 stars because all the other shops around are way overpriced but Ace does good. Love you Ace!

I took my husky 372xp saw in for repairs in early August so it would be ready to work in October. They said 4 to 5 weeks and I said no problem. I then called to check on it in late September and they said they were waiting on parts so I called again 2 weeks later and they said they got the wrong part so they had to order a different one. This went on for months. I finally was called by the technician who was working on the saw and he told me about what he found. We decided to put the saw back together. Went into ace today to look for a vent fan in a certain size. I asked the man cashier with the pony tail for help and he ignored me and then finally said I don't think we sell those here. If we do it might be in the back. Didn't offer to help or anything. Awful customer service. These workers are extremely lazy and not trained properly.
