Seaside Restoration

Worked last year with Seaside Renovation to do a major remodel of a 1700's farmhouse. When it came to demo, framing, ceilings/floors, they did great work. We needed to raise ceilings, put in a staircase that was to code, create a great room out of several small rooms and open up the entire attic floor. The end result was simply lovely. Thor works well with subcontractors, coordinates everyone as needed and knows who to hire based on the job. He is also a creative problem-solver. We used subs for electrical (Dave is the best!!), plaster, paint and HVAC, to mention a few.

I have a historic era home that needed a variety of repair and improvement to be completed. They are very skilled at matching the design for the exterior and using quality products. Always arrived on time. The cost for the work was reasonable and there were no surprise cost increases at the end! Seaside Restoration is knowledgeable, quality and cares about working with masterful skills and integrity. I am an also a REALTOR. Therefore I have seen a lot of what’s out there and they are second to none!

Do not recommend for large scale. Renovations. Came to the initial meeting smelling of beer. Made absolutely zero reference to any building codes, regulations, use of an architect, subcontractors and related trades, or anything else that would be expected when adding a second floor to a house. Also suggested being able to do siding on the second floor of a house before doing siding on the first floor. Also made assumptions in regards to the strength of concrete and the suitability of using it as a footing and support for the second floor. Somehow was able to take one measurement after being at the job site for less than half an hour and able to give ballpark estimate on the cost for the job

We highly recommend this company for home improvements or restoration projects. The owner and employee of the company kept us informed about what they were doing during the entire process. They arrived on time every time and articulated any changes that were necessary to the project. Very fair pricing and great customer service. Extremely pleased with the professional service and results.

Seaside renovated my entire kitchen! Beautiful work and very clean! My kitchen is my new favorite room of my home.
