Seattle Rockeries & Retaining Walls

I am thrilled with the work of Benjamin and his crew with Seattle Rockeries!! Harry was excellent with all aspects, the original estimate; scheduling; further discussion of work to be done and follow through. I also appreciate their vision with the curved and angled design for the three sets of stairs. Access to my backyard is difficult with this much heavy material. Their work is incredibly efficient and there was Zero damage to existing property with excellent clean up. I am so excited to add back in all of my plants that were moved to make this happen. My rockery took a beating in our November windstorm when some trees roots pushed out some good sized boulders. A significant chunk of the rockery started failing soon after. I called Harry and Seattle Rockery and they more than fixed it. They came prepared. They brought 2 dump trucks to bring in some large gravel to help with drainage and extra boulders for the rockery just in case. They brought a machine like a backhoe that can lift boulders and that they used to pull two large root balls. They navigated my cherry trees and slanted driveway. They covered the ground to minimize damage. It was fun to watch it come down and come back together. They are like artists choosing the right combination of rocks. I will use them again if I need them in the future

We had an existing wall in our backyard that was in desperate need of repair. We reached out to these guys and they responded right away. They really listened to what we wanted and were able to adjust the project scope to meet our budget. They were able to start the project the following week and made quick progress. The site manager and the team are very knowledgeable, and they talked to us about recommended adjustments during construction to get the best final product. They were respectful of our property - there was no damage, they cleaned everything up, and they were even able to keep and replant some of our shrubs. Overall, we are really happy with the work they did. It was timely, professional, and within our budget. Before/after photos attached.

Seattle Rockeries rebuilt two of my crumbling rock retaining walls and built from scratch a large retaining wall in front of my property. Harry, the owner, is easy to talk with and the most disarming person--not at all the stereotype for this kind of business. He was respectful, kind, helpful, and his team did excellent work on the 3 retaining walls. I highly recommend calling Harry if you have a project you are considering. They work quickly and make it look easy. Will add photos to post later.

This company did an excellent job. They came out to look at the job, sent an estimate in a timely manner and completed a new French drain, refreshed the gravel all over the driveway and did what my husband wanted them to do. The rocks to contain the gravel was their idea and they make it look so good! Update after job was finished: the mailman drove on to the area where the French drain was installed. He tried about ten times to back out and tore up that area. Called Harry at Seattle Rockeries and he sent out the crew to dig out and refill the area with a bigger gravel and tamped it down.
