SEI Heat Treat

SEI gets the majority of my heat treat work, and for good reason. They meet their delivery dates. The parts meet the specifications. Their pricing is competitive with Bodycote and Houston H/T. (both within a stones throw from SEI) Luis has, on many occasions, recommended alternative heat treating solutions that have increased our quality standards, & longevity on OEM parts. I've been in the metal fabrication industry for 21 years now and have not run across a more incompetent business yet. It all started when i called for pricing and delivery on some 4130 handles. Lewis quoted minimum 175$ with delivery of 3 to 5 days with no problems. I shipped April 3rd with a 1 day delivery to Houston ( 50$ ups ground). 7 days later i get a call from Leo stating my pieces haven't even been started and may bow after heart treatment, by the way job had been treated by texas heat treat, and katy heat treat without any problem. So Leo proceeds to tell me for an extra fee they can be fixtured. After i explain to him that has never been necessary he informs me they cannot complete the job.
