Semihandmade

As an interior designer I have used Semi Handmade cabinet fronts in many projects, including in my own home that was featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine. It’s a perfect work-around when going fully custom may not be in the budget. I’ve found that the IKEA cabinet components (drawers, hinges, soft-close drawer slides, etc) are of excellent quality, and come with an amazing warranty. IKEA also offers such a vast selection of cabinet boxes in nearly every shape and size imaginable, so it’s easy to find the sizes I need to assemble a kitchen that looks as if it was truly custom built. I love the flexibility of using Semi Handmade unfinished paintable door and drawer fronts, because it allows me to choose any color imaginable. I completed my DIY kitchen with Ikea frames and Semihandmade door and drawer fronts. The selection and quality at Semihandmade is excellent and their customer service is just as good! I found the exact look I was going for and it turned out just like I imagined! I took my Ikea plan to their team and they created the order including trim pieces that I didn't know I needed. Everything was delivered in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

I have now had my semihandmade cabinet fronts for about 3 years and I can’t say enough good things about them! Not only are they pretty, trending and such a great way to get a custom look on an ikea budget but these things hold up SO well. I have two young and rowdy kids that play baseball, basketball, ride bikes, remote control cars in my kitchen and my cabinets have help up to it all! They still look brand new and come clean so easily. I highly recommend!
