Hired Service glass to do my shower doors in 2021 and paid them over $5k for 3 shower doors. I'm a licensed contractor and have used them before for one or two other jobs so I was confortable using them for my own house. Approximately 6 months after installation I found a leak in one of the showers and after getting my tile guy working on it we discovered that the leak was caused by a hole on the water proof membrane (schluter) when shower door was installed. I called the company and spoke with the owner, he came to my house and I showed him rusty screws (not stainless steel) that the crew has used, he apologized and agreed that it was unexpected and said he was going to send them back to replace all the screws and seal all the holes for all 3 showers. My landlord booked and paid for these guys to replace a broken window at my residence. The window installation itself seemed fine, and the new window looks good. What was very disappointing was how they handled the cleanup. While removing the broken window, the technician got a lot of shattered glass both inside and on the ground outside. At no point during this process did he lay down any kind of tarp of drop cloth, inside or outside. He assured me that he was going to clean up the glass outside after I voiced some concern since we have dogs that run around the property. Once he was done, I cleaned up the shattered glass that was inside on the floor and on the couch while he cleaned up the glass outside. I went out a bit later after he left and found a lot of broken glass on the ground.
