DO NOT RECOMMEND. Our insurance hired ServiceMaster after a house fire at the end of April. The fire included our garage and two rooms above it, including my son's bedroom. The smell of smoke was strong across all of my children's bedrooms on our second floor, so the crew began cleaning there. When they were "done," my husband went up to a bathroom floor that had smoke "stains"...and easily wiped them up with household cleaners. The crew then moved to the garage and rooms above. We had placed plywood up between the fire-damaged part and the rest of the house, so they had no reasons to be in the main living space of the house. As I was at work, my Ring camera (which the crew did not know was functioning) was going off 6-10 times per hour. Sometimes, the crew was in the house for 20

We had a bunch of items returned that were not cleaned and severely damaged. Company was fairly easy to settle with. After finalizing our loss, we realized that all of our Christmas items (3 trees, 20 years worth of ornaments-our kids ornaments from growing up, collectors ornaments, grand parents ornaments-all that hold dear memories, indoor/outdoor decorations etc) were not returned. We had to contact the company several times before getting anyone to return our calls/emails. They said that they do not have them and have no record of them being returned to us. It is now our loss and they will not reimburse us for any missing items. Would not recommend.

The agent, Damien, was very professional and detail oriented. He explained everything very well in both the initial and followup visit. He cross referenced levels at both visits and was very professional at every turn. He was precise and efficient and a source of confidence for us both in this unsettling event. We are grateful for Damien and his skillset

Completely unprofessional and incredibly rude. They will come and take care of the water damage, but they will flat out steal from you. I don't mean overcharge, I mean steal things from your home. They broke things, they stole, they left garbage and cigarettes everywhere, they are the worst sort of company to deal with. STAY WAY from these awful people. Currently talking with the insurance company about how best to take them to court.
