I have always wanted to work with an interior designer and when the opportunity arose I began my search. My husband and I retired 13 years ago to a lovely home on a golf course in San Antonio. We needed a fresh look to three living spaces in our home. We went to the internet with one prerequisite: that the designer lived and worked in the San Antonio area. I hired Shades of Gray in 2020 to help me with remodeling a house I've just bought. Melissa Fields, the owner, is a professional designer who changed the boring standard interior completely. We divided the project into three phases, one phase per year, that's why it took so long. But My bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, dining place, and living room are unique and beautiful now.
