I hired Eric for my home inspection largely because of his excellent communication - he always answers his phone or calls back quickly. Eric and Brian did an incredibly thorough inspection of a two family home that we are purchasing that had a lot of unique (and not so great) conditions. They were timely, accommodating, and incredibly professional and have helped us to identify the highest priority items to address. Eric came to conduct an inspection on Sunday afternoon. He was the consummate professional. He made it clear that I was his client and that he was working for me. Eric took the time to thoroughly examine things and point out areas of concern. He also documented every flaw. He also advised me where I could obtain or easily fix things. As well he also gave me a time line. For example, in the townhouse there is an old washer and dryer he said it works fine but I should consider replacing it in a few years. The same with my heating unit. He let me know that it is a 87 efficiency. The new ones run at about 96 percent. He also set my expectations as to what the cost would be. Overall, I highly recommend Eric and Sharpeye. Give them a call you will be glad you did!

Eric and the team at Sharpeye were incredibly helpful with the home-buying process. My wife and I were impressed by the promptness of scheduling and the professionalism throughout the inspection. Eric got back to us within minutes of calling and he even came out on a Sunday afternoon to do the inspection. At the inspection, Eric meticulously went through the home and made notes / took pictures of everything he saw; he even had a drone that allowed him to take pictures of the roof and point out defects we wouldn't have seen with the naked eye. Most importantly, Eric pointed out an issue in the basement and gave us a fair, honest evaluation of what our next steps could be.
