Shepherds Landscape Supply

This is my go to nursery as a homeowner in the Huntersville area. Great hydrangea selection with lots of varieties. All healthy plants. Prices are similar to site one and other nurseries, and about 10% than Pikes. Check in at the front office/house first. Homeowners are welcome.

I’ll be the first to admit that I have a “thing“ for nurseries. I visit them every chance I get, and I’ve seen numerous across the country. Shepards is the best I’ve ever seen and I’m very happy it’s close to the house we just moved into. Best selection, Best pricing, Best people - enough said. It’s going to look intimidating, like only contractors or people in the industry can go by here (it’s not commercialized like Pikes or others, no frills), but don’t let that stop you from parking and wandering around to find exactly what you want. Excellent service. Excellent quality of plants. Excellent variety of plants. The quality of the plants are excellent, plants brought from this store are healthy. They also have many selections of plants, from flowers to shrubs to big trees, the plants also come in various sizes. The service is excellent, the staff, Seth and Garth, are very friendly and helpful.

Yes, they're open to the public! We drive by here all the time and just assumed they were only a large-scale landscaping company. Great service and a huge selection of all different types of plants, trees, and bushes. They also carry mulch and various tools. When you arrive, park by the office and go check in. Then you are free to wander all around!

I visited Shepherds Landscaping to gather advice and pricing information, to report back to our HOA board. I made it clear that I would not be purchasing any items. Garth spent time, listening, advising about options, and explaining how the purchase and delivery process would work. He then directed me to the exact on-site locations where I could see the desired plants, and invited me to return to the office with any additional questions, which I did. I have since reached out to Shepherds again for additional information through their website, and received a quick and helpful response. This is the kind of customer service that truly deserves five stars! The HOA board members very much appreciated the detailed information provided for our upcoming project.
